Belen P. Benavidez finished her basic education in Calatagan High School at year 2005. She has been 5 years self-employed at BGM-TRADING.
When she in high scool time, she came from a poor family. Thats why she used to helped her mom when she dont have class. She managed their grocery store in her off class. She rememberd that she dont have any pants because they are 6 sibling , thats why her mom bought first only important things only. Her first pants when she was 3rd yearor 4th year in x mass party. On 4th year high school she got her first cellphone, the nokia 3315was the famous gadget at her time. But now i can eassily buy that kind of things. Before she only got window shooping but now she can buy 20 pcs of it. She got envy in her classmate before because her classmate has a lot of uniform than her.she only have 2 peice of skirt and blouse only on that time. Thats why when she got home come from school she laundry it and put in the back of their ref for tommorow , but on 3rd to 4th year she got 3 pairs . She used to selled in their room for extra money. She has only 3 coins for her snacks , she managed it for her biscuits and juice. 4 years in Chs exposed her to a lot of challenging, learnings, experience, failures and Achievements.She remember the time that they were oppressed just because of the “Kayo Tree”. They have this tree planted in their lot near their neighbors planted by his mother’s father. Her mother said that her grandfather are the one who planted it and their neighbors also said that they are the one who planted it. But during the survey, the land where the tree was planted are 1 meter into their land. At that time his family have no money, so they just let it go. So he worked hard so that they were not be oppresed by other people. And he said, nowadays when you have money they cannot maltreated you like a slave. So he tried to get out of poverty to show to the others that the people they treat like a slave now they are more succesfull in their life. Then she said” salamat sa experience iyo ito ang dahilan kng ngata aq ngsikap sa buhay. “naapi ang pobre” kahilak ning pobre.”
When she in college she didn’t know what course she want, But that time she want to be a lawyer, but her parents have not enough financial for her tuition to pursue her dreams, that’s why she decided to take the course Bachelor of Science In Nursing.
1N 2009, Belen graduated from Catanduanes State University with the degree of Bachelor of Science In Nursing. After that she work as a nurse at Santua Hospital but it didn’t last long because she have to take care of their grocery until it came to a point wherein I lost my will to become a nurse. Which is not really my dream, but because of finacial issues that I become one. For practical reasons I enjoy engaging in the business plus the earnings were also good. Just the same reason I had when I choose to become a nurse to land a job fast, so that I could take up Law.
As a parent she didn’t train her chlid to be honor students, She must educate her child what the values of sharing, caring, and remembering the lord after all we are here in this world temporarily.
